Accommodation is one of the major components of your travel. It plays the role of compensating for your home. Moshi being a small town in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and not very far from the Northern National Parks, many tourists start their trip from here.
Many accommodation outlets are available ranging from upscale to camping sites in and around the town. It is always better to book earlier because the best ones are usually full during peak seasons. I’m sure you wouldn’t want nasty surprises after you arrive.

Protea Aishi Lodge: About 4 kms from the centre of the town. Located beside a rivulet, Beautiful ambience, solar powered hot pool, in-house restaurant and well maintained hotel. Right choice if you are taking a break between safaris and/or climbs.
Kilimakyaro Lodge: Situated in a serene location in the outskirts of the main town, this lodge is one you will fall in love with. The fantastic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro from this place is what takes me there more often. In-house restaurant serves basic continental food and their antique collection will keep you occupied till the food arrives. Swimming pool, baby pool, large garden, geese, flowers will entice you.
Impala hotel: Situated in Shanty town i.e; about 3 kms from the town centre is a nice cozy place. In-house restaurant serves Indian cuisine and English breakfast. Swimming pool, TV, experienced staff are specialities. in the room will keep y. Will suit both tourists and business travellers.
Sal Salinero Villa: This hotel is also situated in Shanty town, pretty close to Impala hotel. Restaurant serves Indian & continental food. Cozy rooms, fantastic interiors, swimming pool, lovely garden & flowers will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Ameg Hotel: Another lodge in Shanty Town of Moshi Tanzania. Nicely spaced rooms with lot of public area. In-house restaurant serves continental and Indian cuisine. Swimming pool
Bristol cottages: In the town, well maintained cozy property. Personalized service and pretty close to bus stop, bank, forex, shops etc. Bed & breakfast services available.
Mountain Inn: This property is owned by a tour operator “Shah Tours”, who specialize in mountain climbing. If you book your tour with them, you will inevitably stay here before the climb. Cozy rooms, Indian & continental cuisine, swimming pool, sauna, beautiful garden are monitored 24/7 by well experienced staff.
Kindoroko: This 2 storied building on the main road (Called as the double road) is pretty close to the market, shops and curios. Suits a budget traveller’s budget.
Kilimanjaro Crane Hotels: Within the town but not on the noisy roads.
Parkview Hotel: Recently built property situated within the town facing Uhuru park. Shops, market, bank are situated at walkable distance.
Leopard Hotel: In the town. A 3 storied building with Market and shops are pretty close. In-house F&B service available.
Zebra Hotel: 5 storied building on the other side of the main road which cuts off some noise. This hotel is recently constructed and well maintained.
Uhuru Hostel: situated a little into Shanty town, it falls slighlty far from the main town. But if you are looking for longer stay or just want to relax and tight on budget, this IS the place for you. African & international cuisine is served in the F&B outlet. Children park with chairs for the adults in open air style attracts not just tourists but also the local residents.
YMCA: They are situated close to town. Large swimming pool and other sports facilities will keep you occupied. This also provides you the opportunity to meet some residents. F&B serves African cuisine.
Keys Hotel: Slightly away from the town means quiet atmosphere for this hotel. Has been in business for long time, hence reliable.
